Gigs and that!
Due to Corona, all my live work is cancelled. Which is sad, but has to be done so that we beat this bugger.
Having said that, as a self-employed person, the Government isn't helping out with all this cancelled work.
So if you want to help me and self-employed buddies, perhaps you might sign this petition
that would give us the same financial safety net as the rest of the working population. We'd appreciate that.
The West End was closed down one hour before Showstopper was due to start at The Lyric, Shaftesbury Avenue.
Since we were in our costumes and have no copyright issues, we decided to livestream.
So with 2 mobile phones, 5 crew members and a handful of ushers in the audience - we did a show.
You can watch it here.
Since then, the fabulous Andrew Pugsley (of Showstopper) has started doing a weekly livestream from his house.
I joined him on his first episode, through Zoom. It involves flamingos, biscuits and murder. Classic.
You can watch the first episode here and support him on Patreon here, so he can make more fab content for us all to enjoy.
And since the lockdown has cancelled my evening at Zedel, you can enjoy this video
of me making up a song about vegetables, last time we were there.
